Change the text in Javascript alert

Is it possible to change the text in a Javascript alert after it appeared?
For example would it be possible to create a timer inside of an alert?

I know that I can use a modal or something, but I want to know if it's
possible to change the text from alert box after it appeared.
I guess it's not possible, but it's better to ask.
